Shoot To Thrill By AC/DC

One of the things I've always wanted to do after "O" levels is to play pool, and I managed to did just that! Wooohooooo! Shooting those coloured balls are so damn fun. I SHOOT TO THRILL. The feelings after each shot, regardless wether the balls go in or not is unimaginable. I think I've played about 4 games with my friends all of which we played at a place near the Singapore Immigrations Customs.

One of the things I am going to buy in the future when i have my own house is to buy an adult size pool table and a children size pool table for my kids. Haha i know you'll be thinking that oh my, 17 years old and you are thinking about kids? well i say future planing never hurts right?

The funny thing when we play pool is that we never really know the proper way to play it. There are many ways to play it, for example, billiards, snooker, eight-ball or nine ball. So, we basically made our own rules when we play. The number on the ball represents the points that ball is worth if you pot it and if you get to pot a ball, you get a free turn and that's about it. Simple right? No such fancy tournament rules like those I found at youtube.

I can't stop laughing when i remembered of a time when Matin and Faris played pool at a bowling center in Melaca. The table was so small and it was too easy to pot the balls in. I think 1 game is about 3 Ringgit Malaysia which is super cheap when you compare it to those in Singapore. However, a game at the bowling center ends when all the balls are potted but in Singapore, you pay according to how long you play. I prefer Singapore's system athough it is more expensive because I saw several kids about 10-12 years old at Melacca stopping the ball from being potted which irritated me because we must wait a long time for our turn to play.

Well if anybody can teach me how to play billiards, i'll gladly learn and if you want to treat me a free game, surely I'll go but provided if it's only in Singapore of course.
