Runaway By Bon Jovi

Holidays are finally here, but it only lasts for 17 days, time to catch up on my blog. My number one favorite video game has got to be the Pokémon Series. I got my first silver game boy advance near Woodlands Checkpoint when I was in primary school and Pokémon Sapphire was the game I bought for 45sg to compliment it. It was the only game to company that game boy. My brother’s friend gave him Leaf Green but he never really played it because I was playing it. About many months later, the game boy spoilt. So, when I was in secondary school, I bought a mat grey game boy advance sp for 155sg. Some months later, I bought Ruby for 68sg, which was expensive. I often battled and traded Pokémon with my neighbor, Solihin. Now I have a Nintendo DS which I bought for 178sg that comes with a screen protector. I bought a Pokémon Black for around 50sg and later bought an R4 DS card which contained many games including all the Pokémon DS games.

Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald had an interesting storyline and gameplay. I like the Pokémon contest a lot and also having your own secret house and battling other players in their secret house. Bad thing about the game though is that there’s nothing much to do after defeating the elite four and some of the Pokémon are “alien” in the sense that they do not have any resemblance to animals/plants in the real world. My favorite Pokémon in this game has got to be Absol followed by Salamence.

I could not say much about Fire Red & Leaf Green because I could not remember much however I like the Sevii Islands a lot but I could not remember why. I think the things I hate about the game is that there’s nothing special about it and getting the next 3 starters is hard. My favorite Pokémon from this game is Lapras, Arcanine and Gengar.

I played the Diamond, Pearl & Platinum series on my computer via an emulator. The 3 starters are ugly but the catching the main legendary Pokémon was fun because of the twisted dimensions. Most of the Pokémon in the game look like “aliens” and so I do not have any favorite Pokémon in this series.

The Pokealthon is the most fun thing in the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. Other good things are there’s a whole new region accessible after defeating the elite four and rebattling all gym leaders. Thing I hate about this game is that catching the 3 roaming legendaries because they always RUNAWAY and doing the pokeathlons over and over again to get those evolution stones.

The Black & White series is the most fun of all because of the gameplay. Firstly there are rotation battles, secondly the story line is engaging, the A.I is much smarter, there are quite a few things to do to keep you busy after defeating the elite four and the TMs can be reused again. Bad thing about this game though is that there are always unexpected battles and events, so there must be constant saving, the Pokémon are the ugliest in this series.
