Times Like These by Foo Fighters

Pre-flight
Hello there! Today I am going to talk about my Taipei trip which is from seventh to eleventh April. There were my club, Youth Entrepreneurship and another club, Marketing in this trip and the purpose for this trip is educational and also entertainment. I decided to sleep at the airport because I needed to reach at the airport by 6am however there weren't any public transports available. So I arrived at the train station at 11.10pm but the train arrived around 10 mins later. The person working at the train station told me to board the train at by 11.15pm but he was stupid because it arrive at around 11.20pm and because of that I didn't manage to catch the last train from Tanah Merah to Changi Airport MRT Station. In the train, I realised I forgot to bring a good read, lip bum, water bottle, shampoo and bath foam. Once I gotten off Tanah Merah MRT Station, I shared a taxi with a stranger from Vietnam or Myanmar and the fare was $5.50. As my feet touched Changi Airport, I headed to Popeye's because my friends told me that it tasted excellent, especially the mashed potatoes. The chicken was normal but I did not like the mash potatoes because there were like these small bits of potatoes in it that was not mashed..

Day 1
We took Singapore airlines and in the plane, I watched Beneath Hill 60 and A Dangerous Method. The main meal they served was delicious but the two side dishes were atrocious. We then had our sushi in the bus, and it was quite good. The translator talked and she was not fluent but funny never the less.We then arrived at Les Enphant Factory or what I would like to call, Pedoland. In there, we were instructed to draw on a bag with crayons. The Taipei teacher looked cute because she had a very small face, looked very young and she had long and big hair. When my club saw my design, they praised it but when Anson saw it, he was not surprised and reasoned out that I came from School of Technological Arts. I felt disgusted because from my experience, only some are creative in that school. After that, we went to a shopping centre and from the outside, it looked like a castle. I estimate it to be double the size of Causeway Point. There was a very huge arcade at the top level but not many people were in there. I then saw that they served some traditional food at 7-Eleven. There were also these black and red Gatsby that weren't in Singapore. Later I went to the toilet and you have to pee sidewards in the toilet room, so I thought, the rest of toilets in Taipei was going to be like this but it wasn't. Stepped into a restaurant of lovely ambience but the food served was atrocious and I knowingly ate food that is not halal. Arrived at Taoyuan County Highness Hotel to put our stuffs in our room. Walked the streets nearby and saw a Pringles flavour that I liked very much but it cost about $3 although it was hard to find in Singapore. Later on, I saw the same Pringles in Singapore but it was also about the same price.

Day 2
Skipped breakfast because I heard the time for breakfast wrongly. Once we stepped out of the hotel, I manage to blow out the visible cold wind and the temperature was about 11 degree celcius. Attended a lecture at National University of Taiwan but was busy playing my Nintendo DS. We then spent some 30 minutes to a speciality store known for their unique product packaging. After that we went to Wu Fen Pu, a shopping district. I bought a leather jacket, 2 soccer shorts and 11 chocolate bars and a pair of chopsticks. Vehicles are still able to move through the tight lanes of Wu Fen Pu and most of the products over there were repeated. We then went to a noodle house and I requested for veggie noodles since it had higher chance of being halal. The noodles tasted good because of the tomato soup. Back at the hotel, we had to do a presentation as a group to everybody . Anson then adjusted my handwriting which I hated because it looks unique but still readable. At the presentation place in the hotel, while others discovered the gym, I discovered a playable pool table out of curiosity but we weren't unable to play because our rental time for the room was limited.

Day 3
Woke up in time for breakfast. We then went to McCann Erickson Tower which is world's largest n leading marketing solution network. I laughed in my head when she thought Singapore was bigger than Taipei but Taipei is actually about 40 times bigger and Singapore is also 10 times denser than Taipei. The group then headed to Taiwan Design Center where old, current and future products were displayed. Some of the futuristic products were very innovative and the old products gave a sense of nostalgia especially the inflatable chair because I had two of those before. At the design centre, we were told to put on hearing devices but I didn't put on because the design centre guide talked in Chinese. After that we visited a building beside Taipei 101. bought 2 fillet o fish, 1 for lunch and another for dinner. Headed for Fortune Hotel and I saw picture of woman with exposed breast on the wall in our room. To some night market we then went to. Met a local celebrity over there. On the way back to the bus, saw a handicapped beggar softly banging his head on the floor repeatedly when it was raining. Saw my teacher, Jasmine Lee donated and I wanted to donate but my note was big. The group the switched hotels because Fortune Hotel was not safe as the alley way was dark and so we arrived at Forte Donge Shan Villa. The villa was excellent because it was like a chalet environment set in a natural landscape. Some of the girls then came over although they weren't suppose to. Some of us played monopoly deal while watching a movie called Immoral Class. The movie was awesome because it was about a comedy of perverts set in the 1990s. After the game, everybody slept but I continued watching the movie until it ends.

Day 4
On the way to Sanxia Agricultural Products hall, our group watched Zookeeper. Once we reached there, we made kimchi and I landed on moon once there was a talk in Chinese with no translators. To Ximending Retail Cluster we headed. I bought some leather gloves to go with the leather jacket. My friends then bought  a food that looked like a dick. I had the honours and took the first bite and it was the head of the penis. We then went to Party World KTV which was about the whole of a 15 storey building. There was not much choice of English songs so it sucked. We then went to a 5 star hotel, Taipei Garden Hotel and our room was on the 10th floor, so we had quite a scenery, however I still preferred the villa. We walked back to Ximending Retail Cluster for our dinner. During dinner, I struck a conversation with my teacher, Jasmine Lee on several topics such as multi-level marketing, passive income, currency exchange and her past life. Its TIMES LIKE THESE where I really enjoy the most.  And back to the hotel we walked. Waited for hours for the girls to play monopoly deal and surprisingly, I won the game 6 times in a row, and the last 3 games, the game ended quite fast.

Day 5
Woke up late because yesterday we slept at around 4am but had time for breakfast because head teacher extended the duration of our breakfast. We skipped White Wood House Gallery because we were behind schedule. Lastly, we moved towards Jiufen Old Street. I dared Junwen and Bao Ren to take picture with any beautiful girl over there. Luckily when they ask me to do it also, a language barrier was present. I realised that that place was thronged with many Japanese. My small group then sat down and they ate something that looked like an ice-kachang and I questioned my teacher, Jasmine Lee, if Republic Polytechnic students face an unfair advantage against other polytechnic students because of Republic's daily grade system and she agreed. The tour guide gaves us 150 Taipei Dollars and with that, I bought a harmonica, a bracelet for my sister and also a sex keychain for Joshya. Before you knew it, we were back at the airport. On the flight, I finished watching A Dangerous Method but I felt like shit because I have not shit throughout the whole trip. So, I spent some 30 mins in the air plane toilet and marvelled at how it sucked up that shit. The meal they served was delicious except for one of the side dishes. The nicest was the Haagen-Dazs strawberry ice-cream they served. I then asked for a packet of poker cards but received two instead so I gave one to Muhaimin.

Post-flight
Landed on Singapore soil and it was hot and humid although it was night time. I caught the direct bus to Woodlands in time but there was this stupid Malay woman who listen to her rubbish music loudly in the bus although she was wearing her earpiece.
